Location and special features

Everything here is all about waves: The Königsgalerie Duisburg greets its visitors from afar with a wave-shaped façade decoration. However, the real landmark of the Königsgalerie, which opened in 2011, is not its exterior, but the oversized royal crown that greets visitors inside. Once an hour, its individual segments are joined together as if by magic. In this way, the Königsgalerie reminds visitors that King Henry's crown was once set in Duisburg - a "Duisburg version of the royal crown". But the Königsgalerie is also a wonderful place to shop. More than 50 stores provide a colorful range of goods. On a sales area of 20,000 square meters, more than 2 million visitors a year go bargain hunting here.

Directions and parking

The Königsgalerie is located in the west of Duisburg city center, directly on the well-developed Steinsche Gasse. As a modern shopping center, the Königsgalerie Duisburg has its own parking garage. The entrance is on Steinsche Gasse. Königsgalerie Duisburg is also easy to reach by public transport.
