When Breuningerland opened in Ludwigsburg in 1973, the idea of a shopping center in southwest Germany was still very new. First-time visitors were surprised not only by the total of 30 stores in the covered shopping city, but also by the huge parking lot on the green meadow. Today, Breuningerland Ludwigsburg offers a colorful variety of goods, restaurants and services on more than 39,000 square meters of retail space. On a total of three floors, visitors can explore 120 specialist stores and enjoy the wide view of the light-flooded gallery and the large fountain. As a special offer for families, Breuningerland also provides childcare for children aged 2 to 8 in the center's own "children's room".
