Location & special features
When the Blautal-Center was opened directly on the B28 in Ulm in 1997, nobody could have guessed that it would become one of the largest shopping centers in southern Germany within just a few years. With a sales area of 37,500 square meters and more than 100 stores, specialist stores and restaurants, the Blautal-Center is sure to impress even the most spoiled shopping fans. Visitors are constantly surprised by extraordinary events: whether it's Sunday shopping in a relaxed atmosphere, a Jurassic Park reptile show for the whole family or romping and playing in the new indoor dragon ship playground, visitors of all ages get their money's worth under the mighty glass half-round of the Blautal-Center. So it's no surprise that the Blautal-Center rounds off its feel-good offer with buggy hire, fun cars, cell phone charging stations and a children's cinema.
Directions & parking
Only around 2 kilometers from Ulm train station, the Blautal-Center's most impressive feature is its location close to the city center. Excellent public transport connections, such as bus lines 10, 13, 36, 37 and 38, are therefore a matter of course. But drivers can also reach the shopping center at Blaubeurer Straße 95 from the A8 in just 5 minutes by car. With 2,300 parking spaces, the Blautal-Center also offers plenty of room for its visitors. They can even park here free of charge for the first 3 hours.
