Oluyemisi Adeyemi-Fowode, MD, "Dr. Yemi," is a board-certified OB/GYN and fellowship-trained pediatric and adolescent gynecology specialist. She provides high-quality, evidence-based gynecology care for patients from infancy through adolescence at Texas Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology (TPAG) in Sugar Land, Texas. Dr. Yemi is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and an active member of the North American Society of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.

Dr. Yemi specializes in diagnostic testing and treatment for a wide variety of acute and complex gynecological conditions that affect pediatric girls and young women. She takes a multidisciplinary and holistic approach to care that focuses on her patients' physical and emotional health.

Dr. Yemi was born in Bloomington, Indiana, and grew up in Nigeria and Botswana. She came back to the United States at 15 to attend college at St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin, earning her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. She graduated Magna Cum Laude at 19 and was honored as the graduation commencement student speaker. Dr. Yemi went on to obtain her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society.

She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Baylor College of Medicine, serving as the administrative chief resident in her final year. Dr. Yemi went on to fellowship training at Texas Children's Hospital. Before pursuing private practice, Dr. Yemi was an assistant professor and assistant fellowship director in the division of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology at Texas Children's Hospital for over six years. She has trained several fellows who have since graduated and are now practicing pediatric and adolescent gynecology throughout the United States.
