"Ich male nicht. Ich kämpfe!" Was ich mit Farbe und Leinwand mache, würde ich nicht unbedingt als Malerei bezeichnen. Eher als zwanghaftem Kampf. Ein Künstler muss tun, was er tun muss. Das kann er nicht frei entscheiden. Das ist ein Zwang. Nicht immer, aber sehr oft! Manchmal, wenn ich die Nachrichten höre oder sehe, stehe ich auf und weiß, was ich tun muss. Alles andere ist dann unwichtig. Oft wünsche ich mir, ich hätte unendlich viel Platz und Mitarbeiter. Dann hätte ich eine Chance, alle Ideen umzusetzen. Dem ist leider nicht so. Was wiederum vielleicht auch gut ist. Ich weiß es nicht. Entscheiden Sie das!
