Location and special features

The shopping center not far from the Danube is simply an institution in the cathedral city. A wide variety of stores, stores and restaurants have been inviting shoppers to relax here since 1967. Named after the Danube, which flows just a few meters away, the shopping center scores points not only for its proximity to Regensburg city center, but also for its excellent transport infrastructure. The renowned E-Zentrum is now home to more than 135 stores and stores and, with a sales area of around 55,000 m², is one of the largest covered shopping centers in Germany. It is therefore not surprising that more than 30,000 visitors pass through the floor-to-ceiling glass doors every day to shop here. As a special service, the Donau Einkaufszentrum offers its own children's club, where children from the age of 2 are looked after.

Directions and parking

Thanks to its excellent location in the north-east of the city center, the Donaueinkaufszentrum offers direct access to the B15 and B8. Visitors can park for free in more than 3000 parking spaces. The center offers both covered and open-air parking spaces. Access is via Nordgaustraße, Holzgartenstraße or Weichser Weg and exit via the center's own petrol station on Walhalla-Allee.
