La nostra Locanda è stata costruita adiacente ad una ad un pelaghétto (piccolo specchio dacqua), ora prosciugato, a servizio dei terreni circostanti, che anticamente veniva chiamato gozzetta. Da qui il nome. Siamo a ridosso delle colline pisane e davanti a noi ci sono sterminate colture di lavanda che colorano di viola i campi tutto intorno.
