At the offices of ophthalmologist Jacqueline Littzi, MD, in New Canaan and Greenwich, Connecticut, the team provides a professional and warm environment welcome to patients. As a family practice, the team at Littzi Eye Care often takes care of eye issues that are affecting multiple generations of the same family, ranging from grandparents through their grandchildren.
The team at Littzi Eye Care respects the fact that many patients have busy working and professional lives and need to be attended to in a timely manner, however, they strive to ensure that each patient has a thorough, one-on-one consultation with Dr. Littzi.
Dr. Littzi earned her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She then completed an internship in internal medicine and a residency in ophthalmology at the same institution. She later completed a fellowship in glaucoma and cataract surgery at Harvard University. Dr. Littzi is currently on staff at Stamford Health and Greenwich Hospital, but she’s also a founding physician partner at Wilton Surgical Center.
As an ophthalmologist, Dr. Littzi is known for providing exceptional patient-centered care. She offers a full range of eye-related health services, including cataract surgery, emergency eye care, eye exams, and prescriptions for eyeglasses and contacts.
Dr. Littzi has expertise in fitting a wide variety of contact lenses from 1-day disposables to extended wear lenses. She specializes in all types of contact lens corrections and lens fitting problems. Some of the more common issues she manages include dry eyes, keratoconus, difficulty inserting lenses, instruction for children/adults on insertion techniques, severe astigmatism, and reading difficulties with current lenses.
