In the north of Leipzig's old town lies a building ensemble that looks back on a long and eventful history, but today shines with state-of-the-art architecture: the Höfe am Brühl. The four courtyards with their characteristic curved aluminum façade dating from the 1970s were once surrounded by magnificent city palaces and Richard Wagner's birthplace between Richard Wagner Square and Hallisches Tor. In 2012, today's shopping center was completed on the site, which still houses the four historic courtyards inside: Drey-Schwanen-Hof, Schönkopfscher Hof, Plauenscher Hof and Lattermanns Hof. Around these modern courtyards, 130 specialist stores on two levels provide a varied shopping experience on almost 44,500 square meters of retail space.

Directions and parking

The Höfe am Brühl can be reached via the B 87 (Tröndlinring) and Hallisches Tor, where the entrance to the center's own parking garage is also located. More than 800 parking spaces are located on the upper floors of the shopping center. In addition to a total of four bicycle parking spaces, there is also a bicycle storage room. Due to its inner-city location, the shopping center is easily accessible by bus and train.
