Located directly on Kriegsstraße and thus in the heart of the fan-shaped city, the Ettlinger Tor shopping center with more than 130 specialist stores, boutiques and restaurants invites you to stroll and enjoy. Visitors walk under mighty glass arches, which not only bring a lot of light into the three-storey shopping paradise, but also symbolically recall the southernmost city gate of Karlsruhe, which was demolished in 1872. Where once cavalry guards and horse-drawn carriages made their way towards the castle, visitors can now hunt for bargains on more than 37,000 square meters of retail space. This makes the Ettlinger Tor one of the largest inner-city shopping centers in the whole of southern Germany.

Directions & parking

Thanks to the direct connection from Kriegsstraße (B10) to the A5 highway, Ettlinger Tor is easy to reach by car. The center's own multi-storey parking lot offers more than 900 parking spaces. Further parking options are available in the multi-storey parking lots at the congress center, Staatstheater, Marktplatz and Friedrichsplatz within a radius of 300 meters. From 2018, the center will also have its own subway station. There are also public transport stops right on the doorstep.
