New, modern and large - these are the attributes that make Erlangen's newest shopping center stand out: the Erlangen Arcaden. Opened in the fall of 2007, the striking round tower of the Erlangen Arcaden can be seen from afar. It houses more than 100 specialist stores on a total of three floors. The fact that the wide range of goods and services is an enrichment for Erlangen's city center was also made clear by the city's residents in a vote: the majority of them were in favor of building the shopping center in the heart of the city. Thanks to the direct connection to Erlangen's pedestrian zone, the Erlangen Arcaden has also quickly become a popular shopping destination. Directions and parking

The entrance to the center's own parking garage is located at the intersection of Güterbahnhofstraße and Nägelbachstraße. As a city center parking lot, it is not free of charge, but offers space for a total of 660 cars. The Erlanger Arcaden also has its own bicycle parking area for cyclists. The shopping center can also be easily reached by bus.
