As the name suggests, the Altmarkt-Galerie invites you to go on an extensive shopping spree in the heart of Dresden's historic old town. Housed behind the historic facades of the Centrum department store and partly newly built along Dresden's Altmarkt, the Altmarkt-Galerie Dresden combines a wide variety of architectural styles and is therefore a varied backdrop for window shopping in Dresden. With a sales area of 44,000 square meters, the Altmarkt-Galerie is one of the medium-sized shopping centers in Saxony. Nevertheless, there is surprisingly enough space for a total of 200 specialist stores.

Access and parking

Due to its inner-city location, parking space in the Altmarkt-Galerie is limited and comprises only 500 parking spaces. However, the shopping center is easily accessible by public transport. Whether streetcar, train or bus, stations are located directly at the center or in the immediate vicinity. The Altmarkt-Galerie also provides 300 bicycle parking spaces.
