In the past few decades, ultrasound technology has revolutionized veterinary medicine and is a safe, noninvasive procedure to identify concerns with your pet’s health.

Our surgical staff is highly trained and thoroughly experienced in both routine and advanced surgical procedures.

Following the most stringent protocols in the industry, our veterinarians routinely conduct spays/neuters, dental surgery, and many, many other procedures for our patients.

At Rea Road Animal Hospital, we understand the idea of your beloved pet undergoing surgery can be stressful and scary. Our clinical team will be here for you and your pet every step of the way, providing education around the surgery, offering comfort through the process, and extending the care and compassion you both deserve.

Speaking of blood draws, At Rea Road Hospital, we are proud to offer an in-house diagnostic laboratory for your pet’s health needs. Instead of sending lab tests to reference laboratories for analysis, our in-house laboratory allows our team to quickly test urine, fecal, and blood samples with accuracy. In addition, we are able to monitor every step of the testing process and interpret test results faster.

Another part of you pet’s physical exam includes checking the eyes for unusual coloration, discharge, proper light response, and more.

Rea Road Animal Hospital is a Fear Free Certified hospital, here to treat the dogs and cats of Charlotte, NC, and surrounding areas. Our mission is to provide our clients with education, compassion, and exceptional customer service while providing their pets with the highest quality of veterinary care. Our services include wellness exams, sick visits, vaccinations, microchipping, health and travel certificates, laser therapy, x-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab, parasite testing and prevention, pet dental, general and advanced surgery including spay and neuter, laparoscopic gastropexy surgery, orthopedic surgery, ACL reconstruction, pain management, and more! We are open six days a week and we can't wait to meet you and your pet!
