In the heart of East Berlin's Gropiusstadt, the Gropius Passagen shopping center was modernized and expanded in 1994. Since 1999, the shopping center, which covers 85,000 square meters of retail space and has been reopened, has enjoyed great popularity among visitors from near and far. On the one hand, this is due to the diverse mix of sectors and services offered by the approximately 140 specialist stores. Directions and parking

The Gropius Passagen are located directly on Johannisthaler Chausee and thus also directly at the subway station of the same name. While the U7 guarantees the best connection to the city center, bus lines 172, 744, M 11 and X11 also serve the shopping center. Only a few kilometers separate the shopping center from the A113 autobahn, and the Gropius Passagen offer a total of more than 2,000 parking spaces.
