The George & Dragon, Marlow - Whitbread Inns pub & restaurant - boasts a very close neighbour, the River Thames, less than 100 metres from our front door. So it's no wonder much of Marlow's sporting heritage is linked to its world famous rowing club, founded in 1871. It was the pull for one of the world's greatest oarsman, Sir Steve Redgrave.
